10 local coffee shops are giving you the chance to engage in a little activism with your cup of joe this weekend.

More than 100 coffee shops nationwide are partnering with coffee website Sprudge.com to raise money for the ACLU Feb. 3-5 -- the site has pledged to match the first $500 raised by each business.

"Stick to coffee?" Sprudge wrote. "We’d love to, but unfortunately the situation in our country has moved beyond political theater."
