Standing for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, ASMR is a term used to describe pleasing, tingling sensations experienced through stimuli such as whispering, soft talking, light touches and methodical sounds.

ASMR videos -- of people doing things like making mozzarella sticks, eating sandwiches and baking cakes -- are racking up millions of pageviews on YouTube, and for some, helps improve their focus and reduces pain.
