Inman Park's status as an Atlanta dining destination will soon receive another boost.
Victory Brands, the company behind Victory Sandwich Bar , Little Trouble and S.O.S. Tiki Bar recently announced plans for LLoyd's, their next restaurant concept a few blocks from the Krog Street Tunnel on DeKalb Ave., Eater Atlanta reports.
Ian Jones, a co-owner of Victory Brands, told Eater that LLoyd's (both L's intentionally capitalized) will be an "unholy mix of Chili’s and southern comfort food." The new restaurant, to be located at 900 DeKalb Ave. in a new mixed-use development, will feature the same quirky sensibility that has given staying power to Victory Brands' other restaurants. Lloyd's is expected to open next year. Also look out for a yet-to-be-named coffee shop next door.
The menu will feature comfort food fare including prime rib and fried chicken and an unfussy variety of beer, wine and cocktails. The coffee shop will sell grab-and-go items as well as LLoyd's merchandise.
The 900 DeKalb project will house five retail "shells" along with separate office space. The 25,000 square-foot building has been redesigned by Square Foot Studios, the architecture firm known for restaurants Bread & Butterfly and Staplehouse.
