Add two more new concepts coming to the old East Andrews Entertainment District, now known as Andrews Square.
The team behind The Pinewood in Decatur and The Mercury at Ponce City Market are planning to open Bar Americano and Bar Crema this summer in the former Prohibition space, according to Eater.
Bar Americano is set to serve lunch and dinner, while the adjoining Bar Crema will serve take-away items, desserts, gelato and coffee drinks, as well as classic cocktails and Italian apertivos.
The two spots are the latest tenants announced for the development at 56 E. Andrews Drive NW, which closed at the end of 2015 after being purchased by property owner Edens . Shuttered businesses included East Andrews, Stout Irish Sports Pub, Cellar 56, Czar Ice Bar, Stillhouse Craft Burgers & Moonshine, Burn Social Club, Prohibition, and Sal's Pizzeria as well as The Atlanta Improv Comedy Club & Dinner Theatre.
SAMA Food for Balance, which specializes in food and juices inspired by the healing system Ayurveda , and Henri's Bakery are due to set up shop in the first half of the year.
Other newbies in Andrews Square will include Lucy’s Market, Boxwoods Garden & Gifts and Poppy’s Boutique.
Partners Julian Goglia, Brooks Cloud, and Mike Blydenstein opened The Pinewood at at 254 West Ponce de Leon Ave. in 2012 and The Mercury on the second floor of Ponce City Market in early 2016 . The Pinewood unveiled its expansion last month.
