Chef Robert Phalen of One Eared Stag and Mary Hoopa's House of Fried Chicken & Oysters, will open a third concept at Larkin on Memorial in Grant Park.

Woodward & Park, a new restaurant created as a partnership between Atlanta developer James Brooks of Boulevard Group and Atlanta chef Robert Phalen, will join the roster of food and beverage tenants at Paces Properties' Larkin on Memorial mixed-use development in Grant Park.

Expected to open Labor Day 2018, the concept is described as “European-inspired bistro will offer innovative and locally-sourced interpretations of American cuisine.” Opening hours will include lunch and dinner during the week and brunch on weekends.

Phalen is well known as the creative chef/owner behind the long-running One Eared Stag in Inman Park and the new Mary Hoopa's House of Fried Chicken & Oysters in East Lake.

“As a resident and business owner in Grant Park for more than twenty years, I can’t think of a better community for this one of a kind, chef-driven neighborhood bistro,” said Brooks in a prepared statement. “I have been a fan of chef Robert Phalen since One-Eared Stag opened and I can’t wait for the neighborhood to experience his artisanship at Woodward & Park.”

Woodward & Park will be located on the south side of the Larkin on Memorial development adjacent to Squash Blossom and Full Commission.

Designed in conjunction with architect Jackson Thilenius of Retail Design Collaborative, the space will “evoke a serene, neighborhood feel that is at once new and yet familiar while keeping much of the original structure’s detail including exposed brick and wood.”
