Small Westside coffeehouse Brash Coffee will open a second location in the heart of Buckhead next month. The forthcoming coffee shop will open next to Souper Jenny in the recently renovated Atlanta History Center  at 130 West Paces Ferry Rd NW.

According to an Instagram post from the company, the new location will be nearly identical to the first, though it will be equipped with a Modbar espresso system. Pricey Modbar espresso machines house most of their components beneath the counter and give baristas extremely precise control over how the espresso is brewed, including the ability to account for atmospheric pressure and humidity.

It will join another recently-opened coffee concept in Buckhead: the Mourning Dove, a coffeehouse and restaurant from Birmingham-based Revelator Coffee . In addition to the new Buckhead location, Brash Coffee plans to open a new coffee bean roasting facility on the Westside.
