A long-awaited "Latin-inspired" eatery and bar are set to make their debuts on the Eastside Beltline later this month.

Bazati, from The Diligence Company, will feature The Brasserie on the lower level and Estrella on the roof.

The Brasserie will “transport guests back to Paris circa 1920 when drinks, dining and excellent service met with the energetic pulse of daily neighborhood life,” according to a press release. Estrella will be an open-air bar with umbrella seating with a focus on Latin cocktails.

The project will also feature shops selling items including books, flowers, Colombian leather, Yucatecan accessories and home wear, wine and cigars.

Bazati is opening in Common Ground, a redevelopment by Third & Urban of the former Western Electric Building, which is already home to New Realm Brewing Company.

Common Ground will also offer 34,000 square feet of office lofts and retail space. The development is situated on the Eastside Beltline between Ralph McGill Boulevard and North Avenue at 550 Somerset Terrace NE.
