Free fried chicken cones. Eat your heart out at a pig roast. There are several fun, food events happening in Atlanta, so add one or all four of the following activities to your calendar. Tuesday, July 4: Eat your heart out during a free hog roast at Smokebelly BBQ beginning at 4 p.m. until the food is finished. Since it's a party, music will liven things up until 8 p.m.

Thursday, July 6: Celebrate National Fried Chicken Day with free mini fried chicken cones accompanied by famed frim-fram sauce at Linton Hopkins' Hop's Chicken from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Stop by anytime for chicken and biscuits, pieces by the bucket or Nashville-style hot to celebrate.

Thursday, July 6: For more fried chicken holiday fun, head to Holeman and Finch Public House , which will offer three free bubbly selections from its eponymous bottle shop, with the purchase of Holeman and Finch's special fried chicken. This offer will be available from 5-7 p.m.; in addition to food and drinks, guest will learn about each pairing from the Bottle Shop's Patrick Kelly. For reservations, call 404-948-1175.

Sunday, July 9: Table & Main and Creature Comforts will join forces to present a summer luau featuring a whole hog and executive chef Woody Back's takes on Hawaiian sides including dirty rice, oysters, coconut creamed collards, green papaya cole slaw and more paired with Creature Comforts drinks. The event will take place from 5-9:30 p.m. on Table & Main's patio. Tickets, which are $35, can be purchased here.
