A five-course dinner hosted by some of Atlanta's best chefs will showcase their culinary skills while giving back to the community.

Head to Cobb County for three-course dining deals at a bevy of restaurants. Some of Atlanta’s best chefs will come together to host a five-course dinner and do what they do best — cook and give back to the community. There are several fun, food events happening in metro Atlanta, so add one or all four of the following activities to your calendar. Be prepared to eat, drink and have a grand ole time.

Now through Sept. 22: The 10th annual Cobb Restaurant Week features select three-course dinner menus for $15, $25 and $35. Participating restaurants include Drift Fish House & Oyster Bar, South City Kitchen Vinings, Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Cinco Mexico Cantina.

Thursday, Sept. 20: Try whiskies paired with small plates during HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern's whiskeys from around the world tasting which begins at 7 p.m. at the Brookhaven location. The menu will include Virginia Highland Whiskey Port Cask from Virginia paired with pigs in a blanket, Widow Jane from New York paired with lamb chops lollipops and Kavalan King Car Conductor from Taiwan paired with chicken satay. Tickets are $39 and can be purchased here.

Thursday, Sept. 20: Piastra Restaurant in Marietta, winner of an August Wine Spectator Award, will host a five-course wine dinner inclusive of penne baked in a crust with meatballs and salt-crusted Ossabaw pork loin at 7 p.m. A seat at the table will be $55. Monday, Sept. 24: Barrel of Chefs, a five-course dinner hosted by executive chef Nick Anderson of City Winery Atlanta along with Hector Santiago of El Super Pan; Andre Gomez of Porch Light; George Brooks of Botiwalla; Brad Smallwood of The Mercury and several others will kick off with a 6:30 p.m. reception following by dinner at 7:30 p.m. The event will benefit The Giving Kitchen. Tickets, which are $150 and exclusive to guests 21 years of age and older, can be purchased here.
