Thursday July 12: Learn to make homemade pasta dough, goat cheese tortellini with red pepper and olive pesto, linguine with shrimp and vegetables, and lemon mascarpone gelato in a pasta making class from 7-9 p.m. at Sur La Table. Participants will practice rolling and cutting pasta and more. Tickets are $75.

Saturday, July 14: Patrons can party hearty with complimentary hors d'oeuvres, a freebie first drink, raffle and live music by James Patrick Morgan and his three-piece band during HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern's one-year anniversary in Brookhaven. The festivities will be held from 5-7 p.m.

Saturday, July 14: To celebrate tomato-inspired dishes and cocktails, a collaboration of southeastern chefs will culminate into a special five-course benefit dinner featuring mixed seafood estofado, cascarelli en brodo and raw scallop with rhubarb aguachile beginning at 6:30 p.m. at The Optimist. The evening will begin "on the green" with a cocktail reception, followed by dinner in the Oyster Bar at 7:30 p.m. A seat at the table will be $250; call the restaurant to RSVP. All proceeds benefit Georgia Organics.

Saturdays, ongoing: For late night fun with a rotating menu with dishes such as lobster rolls, jerk chicken sandwiches, fried calamari, paprika-Parmesan fries, Baja fish tacos and shrimp cocktail plus a DJ and opening dance floor, head to The Big Ketch. From 10 p.m.-2 a.m. the restaurant doubles as a party place for hungry patrons who also want to show off their fancy footwork in Roswell.
