Restaurant and dining news

--Linton and Gina Hopkins' steakhouse C. Ellet's is now open in The Battery at SunTrust Park at 2605 Circle 75 Parkway, Suite 400 . With a kitchen helmed by executive chef Damon Wise, the eatery will focus on steaks, seafood and oysters along with vegetable dishes.The menu will feature dishes showcasing "Hopkins' signature from-scratch and whole-animal, whole-vegetable approach," according to a press release, including steaks sourced from 15 brands, farms and butchers across the country and prepared using a variety of methods and presentations; rack of Colorado lamb; Gulf black grouper with Sapelo clams and Vidalia onions, Kankan pork chop with skillet peaches and peppered butterbeans; and small plates including tableside White Oak steak tartare, New Orleans BBQ shrimp with Creole-butter sauce and French bread and shellfish pan roasts.

The raw oyster program – overseen by head shucker James Geoghegan – will be available in both the club and dining room, featuring up to 10 oysters from across the country.

On the beverage side, more than 900 wines will be offered in addition to craft cocktails including the margarita sidecar and boulevardier riff.  The walk-up oyster bar will feature four rotating options when open, plus wine and beer on draft.

The restaurant will be open seven days a week, with varying hours. The walk-up oyster bar will be open on weekends and for SunTrust Park events through a pedestrian window open to the outside promenade. -- Bulla Gastropub will open Aug. 31 in the 12th & Midtown mixed-use development at 60 11th St. The menu will feature dishes such as Patatas Bravas, Huevos Bulla, Buñuelos de Bacalao and other tapas, as well as a full bar.

--Real Subs Cafe is set to open a new location at The Shops at Belmont, according to What Now Atlanta. The new location will have a deli component not available at its location in Olde Ivy Village, also in Smyrna. The restaurant plans an early 2018 opening.
