East Pole Coffee Co. is set to open Monday, Sept. 11 at Armour Yards, the new loft-office development between Buckhead and Midtown at 255 Ottley Drive, Suite 105. The shop will also serve as East Pole's headquarters and roastery.

The 2,000-square-foot roastery and coffee bar features café seating separate from the production area, where customers can see the roasting process through a glass partition. The space "showcases navy and sea foam accents throughout" as well as walnut surfaces and brass finishes, according to a press release.

East Pole, which  roasts all beans on-site, offers six single-origin coffees, plus house blend Traffic.  The shop will also feature a small food menu, including breakfast burritos from Buckhead taco shop Yumbii and local pastries.

Founded in 2015 by Jared Karr and Jules Tompkins, who met in high school, East Pole is named for a video blog Jared hosted while living in Indonesia, the "East Pole" of the world. The roastery currently provides coffee to Atlanta restaurants and coffee shops including 8Arm , Yumbii, Taproom Coffee and Copper Coin in Woodstock .

East Pole's grand opening weekend will kick off at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, night with a collaboration beer from Second Self Beer Company and nacho bar from Yumbii, as well as live screen-printing by Baron Press and East Pole t-shirts. Festivities for Saturday and Sunday will be announced soon.

East Pole will be open seven days a week, from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on weekends.
