A popular Atlanta Ethiopian restaurant now has two locations.
Desta Ethiopian Kitchen opened today at Emory Point at 1520 Avenue Place NE, according to a post on the restaurant's Instagram account.
Desta’s new spot will feature a menu similar to its original location at 3086 Briarcliff Road, which opened in 2006.
Owners Ash Nega and Titi Demissie offer a variety of Ethiopian staples including tibs -- cubed meat sauteed in a variety of spices -- kitfo and a variety of vegetarian options, all served with a side of injera, a spongy Ethiopian flatbread often used to sop up sauces and juices.
The restaurant joins several other dining concepts at Emory Point including The General Muir, Tin Lizzy’s, Papi’s and BoruBoru.
Desta will be open from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday,
