A new spot for Indian food is now open in Midtown.

With a menu inspired by the Indian restaurants of London, Blue India offers a lunch menu with dishes including Juhu Beach Bhel made with wild salmon, puffed rice, sev, onions, potatoes, cilantro and tamarind chutney; Chicken Tikka Roll made with peppers and onions and saffron-fennel raita; and Chole Bhature made with punjabi chickpeas and corn kernels and served with basmati rice.

Dinner options include a variety of starters, clay oven dishes, curries, breads and rices including Kerala “Beef Jerky” made with skirt steak, coriander and jalapenos and served with pickled cucumbers and onions; Seekh Kebab made with ground lamb shoulder and spices and served with cilantro raita; and Prawn Alleppey made with jumbo prawns, Kerala-style curry, coconut and green mango.

The cocktail menu features drinks such as the Gin and Jam made with gin, Ribena, muddled strawberry, lemon juice and soda garnished with mint and the Blue Old Fashioned made with rye, blackberry brandy, black cardamom simple syrup and orange angostura bitters.

Located on the bottom floor of the Metropolis high rise building, Blue India is 11-3 p.m. daily, from 5-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 5-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
