Tour Usher’s mother’s new culinary facility. Anniversary celebration. Spanish picnic-style dinner on the patio. There will be lots of food and fun happening around metro Atlanta today through Friday, so add one or all four of the following events to your calendar. Be prepared to eat, drink and have a grand ole time.

Wednesday Nov. 9: Experience a five-course family-style dinner with wine pairings prepared by executive chef Brian Owen at Eclipse di Luna at Miami Circle at 6:30 p.m. The dinner, which will include scallops; rabbit and escargot paella; and wood-grilled pork chop, will embody a Spanish picnic replete with wine from various regions of Spain plus lively music. Tickets are $45; call to make a reservation.

Thursday Nov. 10: To celebrate two decades of business, Genki Noodles and Sushi in Buckhead will host a throwback Thursday anniversary party from 7 p.m.-2 a.m. Attendees will enjoy complimentary passed appetizers; specialty seasonal menu items, Genki's anniversary cocktail, the Japanese Mule and more will be available for purchase. 100-percent of proceeds from the anniversary drink will be donated to The Giving Kitchen. Free and open to all.

Thursday Nov. 10: Bread & Butterfly will host a party with COVER Books and Noble Rot magazine, whose twelfth issue celebrates Beaujolais wine and Lyonnais food from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sommelier Jordan Smelt will pour a range of Beaujolais wines alongside hors d'oeuvres from chefs Billy Allin and Brandon Bailey. Attendees will receive a copy of the magazine. Tickets, which may be purchased here, are $50 each.

Friday, Nov. 11: Usher's mom, Jonnetta Patton, recently established her culinary business with J's Kitchen Culinary Incubator , a full service shared kitchen. An open house will be held from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. which will provide attendees with information about memberships and services, business curriculum enrollment and incubate options.
