Benefiting the Atlanta Humane Society, and hosted by Butcher & Brew restaurant and bar in Alpharetta's Historic Downtown District, Butcher & Brew Fest is back from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday.
In its second year, the outdoor event features craft beer, food, live music and games, and brings together some 23 breweries from around metro Atlanta and beyond.

A Gold Medal winner at the 2018 World Beer Cup, Dry County’s Old 41 Oatmeal Stout recently became available in cans. Black in color with a frothy brown head, the aroma reveals roasted grains and hints of coffee. Roasted flavors follow, with some sweetness and nuttiness from the oats, along with a medium body and silky-smooth mouthfeel.
At just under 6 percent alcohol, this is not a big imperial stout, but rather a sessionable dark beer perfect for sipping in a pub on mild fall or cold winter evenings.
Pair with
Oatmeal stout is an easy pairing with chocolate desserts, but also work well with roasted meats, barbecue and Mexican mole dishes.
