Popular pizza restaurant Antico Pizza Napoletana is reportedly looking to expand to Sandy Springs.
The eatery would replace 4 Seasons Pottery at 336 Hammond Drive NE, according to Reporter Newspapers.
Gerard Gunthert of Sandy Springs-based real estate company Cornerpoint Partners, which purchased the property, said the business has signed a deal with Antico.
Antico owner Giovanni Di Palma said he has submitted a letter of intent to bring his restaurant to Sandy Springs, but that it's not a guarantee and hinges on development issues with the city and Counterpoint Partners.
The plan would be for Gunthert to demolish the existing building and replace it with a new structure for the restaurant, along with parking.
4 Seasons Pottery would stay in business pending city approval of the deal.
If Antico does open in Sandy Springs, it would join the original location in West Midtown as well as restaurants at The Battery at SunTrust Park and Alpharetta mixed-use development Avalon and a stand at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
