If one of your New Year's resolutions was to eat healthier, the recent influx of salad spots in metro Atlanta should be good news to you.
Joining the list is New York-based Chopt, which has locations in the works in Buckhead and Toco Hills, Tomorrow's News Today reports.
The salad chain -- which, in addition to its many New York locations also has eateries in Connecticut, New Jersey, Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina -- will open later this year in Tuxedo Festival at 3655 Roswell Road and the Toco Hills shopping center at 2969 North Druid Hills Road NE, taking over space previously occupied by longtime French restaurant Petite Auberge.
Chopt's menu includes a build-your-own salad option as well as rotating "destination" salads that borrow ingredients and flavors from specific countries and other salad and grain bowls, as well as soups, snacks and drinks.
Chopt will join similar concepts Wildleaf, which opened in January 2017 in Buckhead and Texas-based chain Salata , which entered the Atlanta market last year with locations at Atlantic Station and on Johnson Ferry Road and planned locations in Alpharetta and downtown Atlanta.
