Mike Scott will be active for Saturday night's game against the Nets after missing the past 11 games with a sprained big left toe. The reserve forward was listed as questionable on team's injury report Friday. Coach Mike Budenholzer did not indicate whether Scott would play or, if so, how many minutes.
Dennis Schroder is out as he continues to deal with a sprained left toe of his own. Schroder and Austin Daye will be inactive.
The Hawks will use their normal starting lineup against the Nets of Jeff Teague, Kyle Korver, DeMarre Carroll, Paul Millsap and Al Horford.
Also:
* As I reported yesterday, the Hawks announced the signing of Daye to a multi-year deal. It a two-year contract for the rest on this season and a non-guaranteed deal next season.
* Both Budenholzer and Nets coach Lionel Hollins were asked about whether there is more on the line in their two meetings in five days with the Hawks holding the right to swap first-round picks. Here is what they said:
Budenholzer: "If your conscious of where your team is and what are the opportunities and what is available to them, I think you would be naive or I don't think anyone would believe you if you said you weren't aware of it. If I could write my own script, of course we'd have a higher pick. The higher the pick, the better. But we are going to play the games and compete. Just because you say you want something doesn't mean it's going to happen."
Hollins: "We have to play somebody these last six or seven games. The Hawks just happen to be on the schedule twice and we have to go play them and win. We are still in the mode of we have to win. ... We have to keep winning until the season is over or those other teams lose enough to where we clinch the (playoff) spot. It doesn't matter who we are playing against. Swapping picks means nothing at his point. It maybe means more to Atlanta than it does to us because they would certainly like us to be in the lottery so they get a better pick. Other than that it doesn't mean anything."
