— Here’s what we learned today about the Falcons (5-1), who play the Tennessee Titans (1-4) at 1 p.m. Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
- Ryan on winning recipe. Quarterback Matt Ryan noted that offense had to "do better" and that the turnover problem "comes down to execution." He was a communications major. Here's the story on being eager to face the Titans and erasing the turnovers.
- Titans hitting. After dropping four straight, the Titans went back to basics and were hitting and thudding in practice on Wednesday. They are going to try to get physical with the Falcons.
- Can Wheeler help in coverage? The Falcons were impressed by Philip Wheeler's speed. They are going to find out if he can help them in coverage. (BTW, Wheeler thinks Georgia Tech will keep it's Bowl streak alive. He's an optimist.)
- Roddy White injured. Falcons wide receiver Roddy White is back on the injury report with a foot injury. Also, returner Eric Weems appeared on the injury report with a knee injury. Both were limited in practice.
- Durant, Person returned to practice. Linebacker Justin Durant, who had his left elbow in a brace, returned to practice. Center Mike Person (ankle) also returned to practice. Both were limited.
