5 things to know about the Falcons on Wednesday

FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Falcons (2-0) are set to play the Miami Dolphins (1-1) in their third  exhibition game at 8 p.m. on Thursday at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

The Falcons will have a walk-through before leaving for the game on Wednesday.

Here are five things to know about the Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday.

1. Turnover city. The Falcons haven't created any turnovers in two exhibition games. That's been a point of emphasis after finishing 27th in the league with a minus-seven turnover ratio.  Falcons defensive coordinator Richard Smith wants the Falcons to 'hunt like dogs' for turnovers.

2. Red zone woes. The Falcons spent extra time working on their red zone offense and defense before leaving for Florida.

3. Beasley watch. Falcons defensive end/linebacker Vic Beasley was a late scratch last week against Cleveland. He's expected to play this week.

4. Ward, Ishmael declared out. Falcons coach Dan Quinn declared running back Terron Ward (ankle) and strong safety Kemal Ishmael (shoulder) out for the Miami game.

5. Mickey Mouse's House. The Falcons’ all-important dress-rehearsal third exhibition game was moved from Miami to Orlando’s Camping World Stadium because of stadium renovations. The game also will provide NFL officials the  opportunity to observe the gameday experience and stadium operations after the league’s decision to move the Pro Bowl to Orlando.
