5 things to know about the Falcons on Tuesday

The Falcons (0-1) are set to face the Oakland Raiders (1-0) at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday at the Oakland Coliseum.

Here are five things to know about the Falcons on Tuesday:

1. Hageman case. Some of the details of the incident with the mother of child are in the arrest warrant. He’s out on $7,500 bond. The Falcons reported the incident to the league in March, but it did not become public until Monday.

2. Practice. The Falcons are off today and will return to the practice field on Wednesday.

3. Freeman on radio. Falcons running back Devonta Freeman will be on 92.9 The Game at 3:20 p.m. today.

4. Where’s the deep ball. The Falcons elected not to test the Tampa Bay secondary with many deep passes. Matt Ryan threw just 3 passes that traveled more than 20 yards in the air, completing just one, which was a wide open Mohammed Sanu due to a busted coverage, according to In all, just 34.4% of Ryan’s yards came via the air as he finished with the 2nd lowest percent of yards in air.

5. Jarrett played well. Defensive tackle Grady Jarrett, who was making his third NFL start,  caused C Joe Hawley trouble early in the game as the second year pro from Clemson recorded a quarterback hit and  two defensive stops, according to Jarrett comes off a 2015 campaign where he graded as the best rookie defensive tackle, topping all rookies in run stop percentage at 12.4.
