5 things to know about the Falcons on Friday

FLOWERY BRANCH --  Here are five things to know about the Atlanta Falcons on Friday:

1. Service day. All of the employees of the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation will fan out across the community in six locations to do some volunteer work.

2. PSL sales have slowed. Sales of personal seat licenses for the Falcons’ new stadium have slowed in recent months. The Falcons sold 2,594 seats in Mercedes-Benz Stadium from Dec. 1 through March 31, according to figures obtained this week from the Georgia World Congress Center Authority, the latest figures available. 3. Pass rush?  The Falcons have contended that their pass rush will be just fine in 2016. They only had 19 sacks last season, which was last in the league. Dwight Freeney, a seven-time Pro Bowler, wants to keep playing. He’s 36 and played in 11 games and had eight sacks last season for Arizona. He has 119.5 career sacks. Why not give him a call?

4. More on SEALs training.  The Falcons made quarterback Matt Ryan and wide receiver Julio Jones available to to discuss their recent Navy SEALs-like training sessions during the second week of the offseason program.

5. Columbus camp. Falcons linebacker Philip Wheeler helped to lead up the team’s youth champ in Columbus on Wednesday.
