FLOWERY BRANCH -- Falcons wide receiver Devin Fuller suffered a knee injury Friday and left the practice field with a trainer.
NFL Network reported that he suffered a torn ACL and is out for the season on Saturday.
“I know it was knee, but I don’t know what,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said on Friday. “I’ll have an update for you on Fuller tomorrow. (Trainer) Marty (Lauzon) said he was going to go and the (doctors) were going to be here today to evaluate him. I don’t know the severity of it yet.”
Fuller, who was drafted in the seventh round out of UCLA last season, was placed on injured reserve after suffering a shoulder injury in the exhibition season in 2016.
The Falcons signed wide receiver Bra’Lon Cherry and Reginald Davis III on Friday.
Cherry, who’s 5-foot-11 and 188 pounds, played at N.C. State. Davis, who’s 6-foot and 185 pounds, played at Texas Tech.
Davis signed as an undrafted free agent May 1, and the Falcons waived him May 18.
