FLOWERY BRANCH – Falcons coach Dan Quinn is angry!

He admitted to being more angry than frustrated with his team. He believes that anger can be properly channeled to achieve a positive result – something like bringing down the 12-0 Panthers and stopping Cam Newton for doing all that whack end zone dancing.

He even had to take some pauses before answering some pointed questions on "Tell the Truth Monday." The rookie coach found out Monday that the 0-5 questions are not as pleasant as the 5-0 questions. That's just a fact of life.

Here are the five reasons why coach Quinn is angry:

1. NOT FINISHING: To put it bluntly, the Falcons are choking at the end of games. The floored Falcons must pull it together before going to face Carolina or it turns into a end-zone dance-a-thon.

2. PLAY HARDER, LONGER: The Falcons are just trying to do well longer. They have played well in spurts, but haven't been able to put together whole games. They'll need a whole game to take down the Panthers.

3. IT'S ABOUT THE BALL: The defense went out and created three turnovers and had a fourth, but for a penalty on safety Robenson Therezie. No penalty, no Matt Ryan interception.

4. SWARMING TO THE BALL: Every little league coach talks about "getting 11 hats to the ball." On the third-and-19, the Falcons didn't swarm Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston. Quinn was visibly sickened by that. (Clearly some of the players thought Winston was down instead of finishing him off with a kill shot. Vic Beasley thought he was down and thought he heard a whistle. They better get Newton to the ground on Sunday.)

5. RED ZONE WOES: The Falcons were 1 of 3 in the red zone against the Bucs with no red-zone turnovers.
