FLOWERY BRANCH -- After starring in high school Mitchell Trubisky won Ohio's Mr. Football award.

Normally, the top player in the state gets a trip to a Columbus, Ohio and sack full of Buckeye leaves.

But after Ohio State signed J.T. Barrett out of Texas, Trubisky decided to leave the state and picked North Carolina over Tennessee and Alabama.

After redshirting in 2013 and backing up Marquise Williams for two season, Trubisky started just one season and elected to enter the NFL draft, which is set for April 27-29 in Philadelphia.

He could be headed home to play for the Cleveland Browns, who have the first and 12th picks in the first round.

"I'm going to excited wherever I go,” Trubisky said. “I have a lot of pride of where I'm from that being my hometown, but no matter what team selects me I'm going to be super excited.”

Trubisky doesn’t why draft analysts have widely disgraced this quarterback class.

"In my opinion, I think it's a very good quarterback class,” Trubisky said. “Me and all the other guys, I mean we've worked really hard, we've put the work in and I wish everyone the best of luck. I think there's a lot to say for what we've done in

our college careers.”

Teams in need: Cleveland, New York Jets, San Diego, Kansas City, New Orleans and Buffalo.

Need area for Falcons? No. The Falcons have Matt Ryan and re-signed Matt Schaub over the offseason.
