FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Falcons (1-1) released their official depth chart for the Saints (0-2) game, which is set for 8:25 p.m. on Monday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Former Falcons linebacker O’Brien Schofield is likely to sign with the team on Thursday, according to a team official.

Schofield has wanted to return, but didn’t like the offer the team made. He was also courted by the Jets and Patriots, but was not signed.

Schofield, 29, finished last season with 28 tackles, four tackles for losses, two sacks, 13 quarterback hits, and one forced fumble.

Keanu Neal, who’s recovering from knee surgery, is listed as the third strong safety. Neal will likely make his NFL debut against the Saints on Monday Night Football.

(The team calls it an ‘unofficial’ depth chart. But if they are releasing it, for our purposes that makes it pretty official.)
