Falcons release 'official' depth chart for Packers

FLOWERY BRANCH --The Falcons released their official depth chart for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers, which is set for 4:25 p.m. at the Georgia Dome.

With running back Tevin Coleman out with a strained hamstring, the Falcons added running backs Terron Ward and Stevan Ridley to the 53-man roster on Tuesday.

Linebacker A.J. Hawk and offensive guard Mike Person were released.

Also, the Falcons added running back Jhurell Pressley to the practice squad.

Ward, who was on the practice squad, was signed by the Falcons as a college free agent following the 2015 NFL Draft. Last season, he had rushed 29 for 95 yards and one rushing touchdown.

Ridley was originally drafted in the third round (73rd overall) by the New England Patriots during the 2011 NFL draft. He has played in 61 games, including 52 with New England. He has rushed for 2,907 yards and 22 touchdowns.

(The team calls it an ‘unofficial’ depth chart. But if they are releasing it, for our purposes that makes it pretty official.)
