FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Falcons have made all of their major moves in free agency and will now just be in the business of tweaking the bottom of the roster as they prepare of the upcoming NFL draft, which is set for April 28-30 in Chicago.

The Falcons have parted ways with six of 22 of the opening day starters (27 percent) this offseason. On defense, linebacker Justin Durant, safety William Moore, linebacker/defensive end O’Brien Schofield and and nickel back Philips Adams are no longer on the roster. On offense, the team has moved on from wide receiver Roddy White and right guard Chris Chester.

Durant has been replaced by Sean Weatherspoon. Moore and Schofield will likely be replaced in the draft. The Falcons are hoping Jalen Collins can take over at right cornerback and that Robert Alford can become the nickel back.

The Falcons signed wide receiver Mohamed Sanu to replace Roddy White. With the signing of center Alex Mack, they can slide Mike Person into the right guard spot.
