Falcons part ways with five players

FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Falcons got a head start on trimming their roster down Wednesday when they waived wide receiver Reginald Davis III, offensive tackle Wil Freeman, and safeties Jordan Moore and Deron Washington.

The Falcons also reached an injury settlement with offensive tackle Kevin Graf.

The roster now has 86 players. The Falcons must cut down to 53 by 4 p.m. Saturday.

The Falcons (0-3) play the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2) at 7 p.m. Thursday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
