Falcons' draft board: Florida TE/WR Trey Burton

Today we'll look at Florida tight end Trey Burton, who's was scouted by the Falcons at his Pro Day.

Position: Tight end/Wide receiver

School: Florida

Height and weight: 6-2, 224 pounds

Pro Day Numbers: He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.58 seconds, vertical 30 inches, broad jump of 9 feet, 4 inches, 4.32 short shuttle and 7.14 three-cone drill.

Projected Round: He's projected to be drafted in the fifth or sixth round by NFL.com and the fourth or fifth round by NFL Draft 2014 Preview.

Career Highlights: Burton was used as a tight end, H-back/wing back, fullback, receiver and quarterback by the Gators. He had 153 career carries for 720 yards (4.7 yard per carry) and 16 touchdowns. He completed 11 of 17 pass attempts (64.7 percent) for 103 yards with zero touchdowns and an interception. He was a team captain.

Quotes: "(Versatility) is definitely a big thing for me. I'm willing to do whatever any team wants me to do. I'm just excited to play … I just want to prove I can do anything. I can play RB. I can play TE. I can play WR. I'm willing to do whatever a coach wants me to do."

Falcons level on interest: Moderate to Low. The Falcons have two seventh round compensatory picks and Burton could be a candidate. The Falcons need to create quality at the skill positions.
