FLOWERY BRANCH – Former Seattle linebacker Bruce Irvin, who's repeatedly said he wanted to play for the Falcons, has agreed to a deal with the Oakland Raiders, according to league-owned NFL Media.

Irvin, who played for former Falcons coach Dan Quinn, was considered one of the top linebackers on the free agent market.

The Falcons are reportedly in a battle for Denver linebacker Danny Trevathan, who played under coordinator Richard Smith for a few seasons.
