Bird program takes wing Saturday at Chattahoochee Nature Center


"For the Love of Birds," a program 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell, is intended to encourage greater appreciation for our feathered friends.

The event includes flighted birds of prey programs at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.; a Kazanetti String Quartet bird-themed music program at 12:30 p.m.; a 1 p.m. guided hike; bird film showings; and crafts.

Included in general admission: $10; $7 ages 65 and up and 13-18; $6 ages 3-12. 9135 Willeo Road, Roswell. 770-992-2055, www.chattnaturecenter.org.
