Long security lines at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport have gained increased attention amid the temporary closure of one of the checkpoints in the domestic terminal.

That's also reflected in the twittersphere, which has been abuzz with travelers stuck in the long lines for Transportation Security Administration screening.

Lengthy wait times have also become a national issue, with an airline industry group suggesting that travelers tweet about the long lines with the hashtag #iHateTheWait.

Some people have used the new hashtag. Others have been tweeting about long lines for months.

More so than ever, airport crowds are in the spotlight, and that could continue into the busy summer months.
