A traveling art exhibit with portraits of human trafficking survivors is making a week-long stopover at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport's domestic terminal atrium.
The portraits by photographer J.Shotti are of 20 women from across the country who are survivors of human trafficking, with a focus on their accomplishments "as an antidote to the stereotypes" of victims, according to a description of the exhibit from Girls Education and Mentoring Services.
The exhibit called "More Than a Survivor" will be on display in the atrium through June 22.
Delta Air Lines, Hartsfield-Jackson and Rotary International worked to bring the exhibit to the airport. Delta said its SkyMiles frequent flier members can donate miles to Polaris, a nonprofit that runs a human trafficking hotline.
