Delta warns New York storms could disrupt flights

Delta is warning that bad weather in New York could disrupt flights on Sunday and Monday.

Routes to and from New York are some of the busiest at Hartsfield-Jackson international Airport, and Monday is a particularly busy day for business travel.

Thunderstorms are currently in the forecast for New York this weekend and Monday.

Delta is waiving certain change fees for passengers with flights booked Aug. 12 and 13 to, from or through New York JFK; LaGuardia; Newark; Newburgh, NY; or White Plains who want to change their travel plans to avoid the weather.
