Delta Air Lines is resuming its operations in the Northeast after the weekend's snowstorm shut down flights at some airports.
Atlanta-based Delta had cancelled more than 1,300 flights due to the storm. On Monday, the airline said it had 212 flight cancellations, adding that snow removal was hampering operations at New York LaGuardia and Newark.
The airline resumed some flights in New York on Sunday, but snow covering airport ramp areas in Washington delayed the restart of flights there.
Delta said its workers volunteered to help shovel snow at Washington Dulles International Airport. Some flights resumed Monday.
Delta is waiving certain change fees through Tuesday Jan. 26 for travelers flying to, from or through affected airports.
