Temperatures overnight are expected to stay in the 70-degree range with clear skies, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Friday morning is expected to start out dry, meteorologist Brad Nitz said.

Metro Atlanta faces a 30 percent chance of rain later in the day on Friday and rain chances increase heading into Saturday.

Atlanta’s high on Thursday was 82 degrees. The average high for this time of year is 74.

Currently, the temperature is 76 degrees.

Despite the high temperatures, earlier wet weather helped keep pollen levels down.
