Temperatures are cool and skies are expected to stay clear through Monday evening, Channel 2 Action News reported.
The current temperature is 49, down from Monday’s high of 64 degrees.

And it will only get cooler.
Temps will return to the low 40s by Tuesday morning, Channel 2 meteorologist Brian Monahan said. The North Georgia mountains could get near-freezing temperatures.

In the next few days temps are expected to drop somewhat, with highs of 62 Tuesday and Wednesday, but it’s expected to rebound to 67 Thursday and 68 Friday, Channel 2 reported.
The next chance of rain is Friday.
