Mild dry night to continue through the week

Skies are clear and temperatures are mild heading into Tuesday night.

Currently, the temperature is 60 degrees in Atlanta. The city reached a high of 65.

And expect the nice temperatures to continue through Thanksgiving Day.

“Looking at your temperatures for Thanksgiving Day,” Channel 2 meteorologist Karen Minton said, “it’s going to be mild.”

Skies are expected to be clear and the projected high could reach the 60s, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Highs are expected to reach 61 Wednesday and 57 Thursday. Lows are expected to hit 47 Wednesday and 42 Thursday, Channel 2 reported.

Parts of the metro area have seen patchy, light rain. Light showers could hit parts of North Georgia by 11 p.m., Channel 2 reported.

Those showers should be gone by Wednesday morning.
