Thousands Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Dublin

A sea of green covered the streets of Dublin on Sunday (March 17) as tens of thousands of people came out to watch the annual St. Patrick's Day parade honouring the patron saint of Ireland. The gloomy sky was brightened by an array of colourful floats, dancers and marching bands parading down the street to cheering crowds. St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland and is credited with bringing Christianity to the country. The Irish national holiday is widely celebrated around the world.
