Atlanta United’s Saturday game is another sellout

Atlanta United is reporting that Saturday’s home game against the Chicago Fire is a sellout.

With 45,000 tickets sold for the 4 p.m. game, it brings the MLS expansion team’s two-game total to more than 100,000 tickets sold.

The capacity for the first game was 55,000. The capacity for the second game is less due to construction on the north end of Georgia Tech’s Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Atlanta United is 1-1. Chicago is 1-0-1.

‘Big City’ Adams has surprised many, but not one Braves slugger

While Freddie Freeman has been on the disabled list recovering from a fractured left wrist, Matt Kemp and Matt Adams, the first baseman acquired via trade from St. Louis to fill in for Freeman, have continued to give the Braves a powerful 1-2 punch in the middle of the order, with Adams hitting fifth behind Kemp. Each had a two-run homer in Wednesday&rsquo...
