Former professional wrestling star and Charlotte native Ric Flair was on the NFL Network's "Good Morning Football" recently discussing the sport, and Panthers cornerback Captain Munnerlyn called him out for showing support for the Falcons.

“I’m kind of hurt that you were rooting for the Falcons, a divisional rival,” Munnerlyn said. “You can’t do that. You can’t hop both sides of the fence like that. We don’t like them; they don’t like us. ... This year, you’re in for a rude awakening.”

The “Nature Boy” wasn’t backing down from his love of the Falcons, shooting back that “Julio runs backward faster than you run forward.”
