Georgia defensive coordinator Mel Tucker underwent a second interview for Tennessee’s head coaching vacancy on Tuesday, according to a report by ESPN’s Mark Schlabach.

Tucker reportedly met with Tennessee athletic director Phillip Fulmer in New York on Tuesday, according to Schlabach.

In his second year with Georgia, Tucker’s defensive unit helped the Bulldogs win the 2017 SEC Championship on Saturday and earn the No. 3 spot in the College Football Playoff.

Tucker previously served as the defensive backs coach at Alabama in 2015 and worked in the NFL as an assistant coach for the Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars from 2005-2014.
