Ranking this week’s games in MLS

Games of the Week:

Dallas at Chicago, 8:30 p.m. Thursday, MLS Live: Chicago is the league's second-hottest team with three consecutive wins. It can stamp itself as a threat to Toronto if it can defeat Walker Zimmerman and Dallas, which last week lost its first game this season.

Columbus at Toronto, 7 p.m. Friday, MLS Live: Unbeaten in seven and holder of the most points (27), Toronto will get a tough test from Justin Meram and Columbus, which alternates between winning and losing. Since it just lost….

NYCFC at Atlanta United, 5 p.m. Sunday, ESPN: NYCFC defeated Atlanta United 3-1 in their last meeting and the score could have been much, much worse for the Five Stripes. However, the team has made a few adjustments since and has four points – and two solid performances – in its past two games.

The rest

Portland at Seattle, 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Fox Sports: This has lost a lot of its luster in terms of national interest as the team two teams have started to lose steam. Portland is winless in its last four and Seattle has just one win in its past five.

D.C. United at Vancouver, 7 p.m. Saturday, MLS Live: The Gridlocks have lost their past three and with just one win in four road games this season don't figure to challenge Vancouver.

New England at New York Red Bulls, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, MLS Live.

Sporting KC at Colorado, 8 p.m. Saturday, MLS Live.

Orlando at Minnesota, 8 p.m. Saturday, MLS Live: Orlando, winners of four consecutive earlier, are now winless in five as rumors of Cyle Larin's departure in the transfer market continue to swirl. Coincidence?

Philadelphia at Real Salt Lake, 8 p.m. Saturday, MLS Live: The Union should go unbeaten in five at Rio Tinto.

L.A. Galaxy at San Jose, 10 p.m. Saturday, Univision.

Houston at Dallas, 8 p.m. Sunday, FS1: Dallas isn't the place for Houston to try to snap its winless road streak.
