Listen to call of Sony Michel’s Rose Bowl-winning touchdown run


As Georgia running back Sony Michel ran 27 yards for the game-winning touchdown in double-overtime to end Monday’s Rose Bowl, Scott Howard -- the “Voice of the Dawgs” -- couldn’t contain his excitement.

Michel rushed for 181 yards on 11 carries and had four total touchdowns in Monday’s Rose Bowl win.

Howard’s call (above)  from the final play of Monday’s instant classic College Football Playoff Semifinal game between No. 2 Oklahoma and No. 3 Georgia:

Georgia won the Rose Bowl 54-48 over Oklahoma and Heisman winner Baker Mayfield to advance to the College Football Playoff game Monday against Alabama.

The 2018 title game kicks off at 8 p.m. from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
