Here’s what the fifth-round pick from San Diego State had to say:

Q: Is this like moving into the dorms in college?

A: "It's pretty much like the same thing over and over."

Q: Any secret that you have packed in there? Some candy or something?

A: "No, I just brought some clothes and I'm about to drink a lot of Gatorade and get after it."

Q: Any tips guys during OTAs on how to deal with the heat?

A: "Hydrate. I'm not used to this weather. I'm from California and there is the time difference."

Q: Do you see yourself playing more free safety or nickel back?

A: "Honestly, I do not know. Wherever the coaches put me at….they can put me at center and I'll play it."

Q: How did the offseason go?

A: "It went well. Getting to know everybody. I thoroughly enjoyed it."

Q: What will be some of the keys to having a good camp as a rookie?

A: "Day after day. You have to take it one day at a time. You can't think about tomorrow. Don't think about the next day. Think about today."

Q: Have you be able to lean on some of those rookies who were able to start last season?

A: "A lot of them have been talking to me and telling me that you're not going to learn everything in one day. You're not going to learn all of the plays. Try your best, but don't keep making the same excuse or the same mistakes."

Q: Who gave you the best advice from your brothers and family members?

A: "I've got a lot things and a lot of people who gave me advice. My mom, dad and my brother. A lot of teammates, too."

Q: Can you push the returners and maybe find yourself a role here?

A: "I don't want to talk about that. I'm just ready to get after it."
