Want to attend Falcons training camp? Here’s what you should know

Are you ready for some football?

NFL training camps are opening throughout the country for 2017 and the Atlanta Falcons are preparing to open training camp at their Flowery Branch facility. Here’s some news you can use if you are planning to watch last season’s NFC champions during training camp:

When will the players report?: All players are scheduled to report July 26, 2017.

When will practice begin?: The first practice, which will be open to the public, will be held July 27. Here's the complete practice schedule.

Practice times: Most practices are scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. and fans can enter the event an hour before practice is scheduled to start.

Location: The Atlanta Falcons' headquarters are located at 4400 Falcon Pkwy in Flowery Branch, Georgia. Headquarters is located just off of Highway 985 north of Atlanta in Hall County.

Parking: Parking is free to the public and located across the street from the facilities at the Hog Mountain Sports Complex.

What you can bring: Practice will be located outside, so appropriate weather-related gear is recommended. This includes umbrellas, hats, sunglasses, rain jackets, etc. Small coolers and non-alcohol beverages are also allowed on the premises and concessions will be offered to fans.

What you should leave at home: There are no weapons of any kind allowed at the facilities. Alcoholic beverages are also not allowed at practice, and smoking is not permitted. Leave your large bags, backpacks and coolers at home, too. Other key dates: Exhibition opener Aug. 10 in Miami, first exhibition game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium Aug. 26 vs. Arizona, 2017 season opener Sept. 10 in Chicago.
