Report: Falcons set to open new stadium against Packers


The Falcons are set to open the Mercedes-Benz Dome against the Green Bay Packers on Sept. 17, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, citing a source. 

The game will be a rematch of the NFC championship game the Falcons won 44-21 on Jan. 22 to advance to Super Bowl LI.

The full NFL schedule is set to be released at 8 p.m.
