Some Palm Beach County leaders are unhappy about the Braves' decision to enter exclusive negotiations with Sarasota County for a new spring-training facility, The Palm Beach Post reports here.

Sarasota County officials announced Tuesday that the county and the Braves will seek to finalize a deal for the team to move its spring home from Disney World to the southwest Florida city of North Port in 2019. County, state and perhaps city tax dollars will be involved if a deal is completed.

Although a return to that area had strong appeal to some Braves executives, discussions with Palm Beach County never seemed to gain much traction.
